A sound card or audio card is an internal expansion card that provides input and output of audio signals to and from a computer.

Cooling the computer and all it's hardware is important. This is done by computer cooling methods and techniques which remove the waste heat produced by the components of the computer to keep these components within permissible operating temperature limits so the computer will function normally. Overheating can cause permanent damge to hardware and can also cause fire.
